New Years 2008 was spent in Black Butte with the Wenger-Brestle-Raley clan.  Excitement to hit the slopes was dashed early on by rain and 60mph winds, but Friday and Saturday saw some good ski/snowboard days - and Heather tried skiing for the first time in many years!  But the drive back on Sunday?  Yea, that did not go well.  It involved black ice, two spin outs, 94 miles of towing, and a five hour crawl home to Poulsbo in the snow -- definitely our LEAST favorite drive home ever!
